Snow at last, snow at last

Thank God Almighty, snow at last!

At least the skiers and snow bunnies will be happy.

Fifty degrees again today, but tomorrow much colder, with snow starting sometime after 8 a.m., continuing all day. Depending on who you believe, it could be anywhere from five to eleven (!) inches, but most weather people seem to be thinking around six, maybe seven total for our immediate area.

Guess who has to be at a seminar on the other side of town tomorrow morning? That would the be other side of town from home, and twenty minutes or so west of my workplace. At least after the seminar there shouldn't be too much snow to brush off the car (and a similar amount later, when I leave work).

Speaking of which - where is my snow brush?

For that matter, I've still not taken out my winter scarves and gloves (why yes, they are in a box in the sewing room, not yet unpacked - I know the box number, but I fear it is one of the boxes back in the corner amongst the sewing stuff). I do, however, know where my boots are.

After the snowpocalypse almost a year ago, anything under fifteen inches is a piece of cake. This will come down slowly enough that even if we do receive the higher totals, crews should be able to keep up with the clearing.

But rush hour tomorrow night is still going to be a mad house.
