Good morning, ladies. Coffee is available, but only if you unpack the coffeepot, filters and coffee (all in box #57, I believe) and set it up yourself. I think that particular box should be in the dining room.
Well, I'm mostly in the condo, with a few things still left at the flat to be taken care of over the next week. The most urgent thing on the unpacking list was finding the lamps (and finding the almost extinct 100 watt bulbs at Walgreens - score!) and setting them up, as the only overhead lights in the place other than the bathrooms are in the kitchen and the dining room. Going to bed the first night in a new place by flashlight was interesting, Getting up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom was even more interesting.
This was intended to be a fun post-move post, but my heart hurts this morning. The details are in the previous post, but my aunt Pat's younger brother was killed in an accident yesterday. Pat is executor, faced with all the decisions to make in spite of her grief. She is one of the sweetest people I know - always, always reaching out and helping others. If you would, would you please pray for peace for her?
I may be on my way to a rare "back to bed" kind of morning. Not for long, as there is too much to do, but as it is a grey, drippy, cold kind of day, a bit of extra sleep seems appropriate. Now, if I had figured out how to light the fireplace, I could nap in front of the fire...
