Good sports

This weekend has been awesome for Wisconsin sports fans. The Brewers are up two games to none in their series against Arizona, the Badgers beat Nebraska in a nationally televised game and the Packers utterly annihilated the Broncos.

But the weekend, along with my week of vacation, is over. Back to the salt mines tomorrow. For the first time in years, I did not check my work e-mail account at all while I was off. I may have nightmares tonight thinking about dealing with that. Especially since I can't recall if I remembered to turn the out of office notification on. I rather think not.

The important things in the condo are set up. My bathroom is fully functional, though I need to replace my old shower curtain with the new. I didn't think it was possible for a bathroom to be smaller than the one in my old flat, but this one may be a smidgen tighter. Still, I really like the walk-in shower. The living room is set up fairly well, though I do still have odd things laying about.

This week will still be busy with some move-related things. I'm not quite all the way out of the flat; with a bit of persistence, I should be ready to get all of the rest of the stuff out by the end of next weekend. This afternoon passed as I dozed in a chair - the colder than usual weather plus all the activity wore me out, and is threatening to make me sick. At least that's the excuse I used for slacking off.
