Good morning, lovely ladies (and the occasional handsome hunk who wanders in). Dunkin' Donuts coffee in the pot (love, love, love that I can get their coffee at the grocery to make at home!), lemonade single mix in the cupboard and assorted tea bags in the basket on the counter next to the stove.
Has the first week of March already gone past? I'm further behind on things than I should be, and will most likely take a few things home over the weekend to organize and review for Monday. Nothing too involved, and things that will fit in with a mostly low-stress weekend.
Tonight, however, I've a trip to the car dealership for a couple of small repairs that were (theoretically, anyway) already done. The annoying one (the trunk pops open at random times when it is raining/wet/cold) was "fixed" by cleaning and oiling it back in January. I gave them the fish eye (it couldn't be that simple), but the benefit of the doubt. Two weeks ago, I had to pull over three times on the way home from church (in the pouring rain - see note about when this happens) to close it. Not pleased.
In spite of this, I do like the dealership; they've done small fixes at no charge (including the trunk latch). (insert joke about getting what you pay for) They are reasonably priced, offer free porter service, wash your car as part of the service and are patient with questions.
The canasta night last Friday was a blast; I've not laughed that much in ages. We laid a good base of shared jokes (thanks mostly to all of us having worked a full week, and being a bit punchy by Friday night) and goofy things for the future. Next month's game is at my place - time to get cracking on the Small Things!
