Company Girls Coffee 021111

Good morning! Coffee is in the pot. Sorry, no baked goodies this week.

It seems I can only get up the energy to post on Friday. It's not from lack of interest; things are busy at work and by the time I finally get home, I'm exhausted and only have limited time until bedtime (adequate sleep keeps me sane)

Hair appointment tomorrow, reading on Sunday in church, but otherwise, a blissfully free weekend. I'm hoping to stop at Target tonight on the way home, which will leave only a quick grocery run for the rest of the weekend. Laundry needs doing, but the dryer vent needs to be dug out of the snow, first. Given that we should get above freezing this weekend, that shouldn't be too difficult (and better to do it than assume the heat coming out the vent is sufficient to melt a hole for the air to escape).

I'm tired; can you tell?

By a fluke, I discovered both Third Day and Mercy Me are coming to town in the next three months. I've already ordered the Third Day tickets; it seems there may be some interest around work for a group of us to go to hear Mercy Me. If you haven't heard it, the most recent CD from Third Day, Move, is wonderful. I'm not so thrilled with Mercy Me's The Generous Mr. Lovewell, but love the band anyway.

That truly is about it around here. We are escaping from the sub-zero (-7 when I left for work yesterday morning) and will be above freezing - maybe up to forty - all of next week.  Yay for two feet of snow starting to melt!  Though  you may want to make sure your boots are waterproof...
