Er, you may not want to take anything to eat or drink from me. Nasty cold. In fact, that kind of defines the weekend. I had tentative plans to go to a co-workers art opening tonight (she does fractal art, and this is her first showing!), but the last thing they need is a snotty, dripping mess wandering around sampling the art and hors d'oeurves.
Thus, a quiet weekend, full of sleep, naps, chicken soup, half-read books, partially-watched movies and lots of tissue. I'm not sure I mind; every so often it's nice to have a time when you can legitimately check out of life for a bit. Even the weather is cooperating; it will be mostly cloudy all weekend, with highs in the mid-sixties.
On Monday I'm taking a field trip with a friend - to Whole Foods. Laugh if you must, but I've never been there, so we are going to wander around for a bit, enjoying the incredible variety of edibles God fashioned for our pleasure. Enjoying looking at, that is - this isn't going to be a grazing day.
