Welcome! cold drinks are the order of the day again this week, as it's supposed to go up to ninety again (with wonderful high humidity!).
The week in review:
Third Day was incredible. They were just back after a two week vacation, fresh and ready to party. It's a bit disconcerting to be close enough to the band to make eye contact, but you didn't hear me complain! The group has a new CD coming out in October - the first single, Lift Up Your Face, started airing on Klove a couple of weeks ago.
Hot, hot and more hot. I've been going to bed ridiculously early (possibly before eight a couple of nights, though I'm not admitting to it), as the only less hot place in the house is laying on the bed in pajamas with a huge fan blowing on you. In spite of that, I'm not rested, as the sleep isn't good. The weather guys say the heat wave will break Monday, or at least the humidity will drop down. Hope so - I get nothing done when it is this hot!
A dear friend is moving out of town today. I stopped in very early this morning to say goodbye. So thankful that this is the day of all types of communication mediums, as well as options for quick travel.
Weekend - no idea. Lots of errands for Monday, including a stop at the city yards to drop off old cans of latex paint. Love that we don't have to try to dry them out or stuff them with kitty litter, but can take them as is to the yards. Found out some other information about how to dispose of some other household stuff, from electronics to unwanted/broken furniture. Helpful to know as I declutter with an eye to moving.
