Except it's coming back today. We had unofficial totals last night somewhere north of seven inches in just a couple of hours. Two of the freeways were closed in both directions because of flooding. A sinkhole opened and easily swallowed an (unoccupied) Cadillac Escalade. Two women were struck by lightening. The airport is closed until at least 8 a.m. due to flooding on the roads leading to it - and on the airfield itself.
Our cross-town rival has several flooded class buildings; not sure yet about MU. Even the county bus service was suspended for a few hours last night.
And more storms are forecast for this morning. So, where would I prefer to be stranded - at home, or at work?
