Good morning! Or rather evening, as this is being written Thursday night. Too much to do tomorrow (including a departmental meeting tomorrow afternoon scheduled from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. - nothing like forcing a half hour of unpaid overtime on a Friday afternoon!)
At least it is (will be) Friday, with the weekend spread out in front and a much needed vacation a week away. Part of the weekend will be spent tidying the house; it's always nicer to have the place clean at the start of a vacation, even if you are vacationing at home. Most of the rest of the weekend must be taken up with clearing out the sewing room and working on a quilt.
The weather, of course, is supposed to be in the mid-eighties for the weekend. It seems I never have the opportunity to quilt during the winter, when sitting under piles of fabric and batting for hours would be enjoyable.
No other plans but to make plans for the week off, what to do, where to go, who (if anyone) I want to see.
