As of around 11:30 this morning, I've already put in a full weeks' worth of hours. Tonight, I plan to leave on time. Too tired to be very effective (and too tired for caffeine to be effective).
Revival is coming, and the last part of May and the summer look wonderful. In fact, I have nine days of vacation to use up from mid-May through the end of June - a week off at Memorial day, plus every other Monday in June still leaves me one more day to take. If I sign up for "summer hours" it's conceivable that three day weekends will be the norm until the end of September. Bliss.
Blustery, cold, grayish kind of day; white slush covered the windshield this morning, the remnants of the snow we had last night. I make no apologies: I actually like this kind of weather. It's the harbinger of change - the thunderstorms and sudden snowshowers, rapid cooling or heating usually happen more frequently in spring and fall. All too soon we'll be complaining about the heat.
Better get back to it...can I keep my eyes open for another two hours?
*Seriously, if you don't recognize this quote you're either well under twenty-five years old, or, well, fully dead.
