Big game hunting *update*

Some of our students are trying to get a jump on the competition for good seats in the student section for tonight's Marquette - UConn game. The student section is general admission, and things can get a bit dicey when the doors open. This game is a big deal, with myriad post-season ramifications. Broadcast at 6 p.m. Central on ESPN, if you are interested.

If you click through to the JSOnline article, it's worth taking the extra step to click through to the two profiles of our coach. "Williams says he has obsessive-compulsive habits." - from the sounds of it, he has more than a few. Still, if his team wins this game, or ends up taking them to the Final Four, the Mississippi-sized river of cash we currently send flowing to Athletics will undoubtedly turn into a Niagara-esque deluge.

We may not have a football team, but we take our basketball seriously.

So they not only lost the game, but lost one of their star players to...a broken bone in his foot. Not only does this end his season, but it marks the end of his college basketball career. The last games of the season would have been tough enough; without James, it may simply be a losing proposition.
