Company Girls Coffee 062212

Move along, nothing to see here, move along please...

Life feels a bit like that right now. Not much new going on, nothing much out of the ordinary.

Ordinary can be very, very good.

While I've been keeping up with the daily readings for the Bible in 90 Days challenge, I've yet to find time to post a weekly summary from last week - maybe I'll be able to get to it tonight. At the moment, we're still in the history books; getting through big chunks of the prophets will be a bit harder.

I'm working "summer hours" - I put in enough time to be able to take a half day off a week. That may not sound like much, but because of my ability to start work fairly early, my half day ends at ten-thirty.

As an incentive to do a few little things that never seem to make it to the top of the to-do list, I've invited a friend over for drinks on the patio. In order to make that a pleasant experience, I need to: 1. Wash down the patio furniture, and 2. Actually plant the geraniums. The upside is that it is going to be gorgeous - mid-seventies, sunny and dry - for the foreseeable future, according to the weatherpeople. Nice weather to putter outside.

My niece is about ready to give birth. These things go in cycles; honestly, I can think of at least five six seven women (of all ages) who are pregnant. Love being an aunt - you can squish the babe all you want, but get to hand them back to their parents for the hard stuff.
