Whatever you have to drink today, be sure it is a hot beverage; today's high will only be twenty-five degrees. Brrr.
The cold someone shared with me has kept this a low-key week; I get home after work, sit down to eat dinner and don't get up until it is time for bed. A few things did get done, though, like hanging a wreath above the fireplace (pictures two posts down). It was hard to place, as there is this annoying recessed electrical outlet that would sit squarely in the center hole of the wreath were I to hang it up where it belongs.
After two weeks with just half a dozen ornaments on it, the tree is now decorated, though sans angel. She is in a box...somewhere, along with the Christmas stocking, some garland and assorted table top decorations. I fear those boxes are at the back - and on the bottom - of the stack in the sewing room.
A sweet young couple is getting married tomorrow afternoon. They were friends for the longest time, and only recently realized it was something more. They became engaged in August, and are marrying tomorrow. Pray for her family - I'm not sure her parents are ready for the whirlwind of changes (her fiance is a Marine, currently stationed in S.C., soon to move to San Diego, apparently - lots of change!).
