Snow! I swear it wasn't there when I got up to visit the facilities at 5:00. I always glance out the window, and there is a lovely faux gaslight next to the path outside my patio gate. The reflection of light off the snow would have been obvious.
But at seven-thirty, it was there, maybe just a skim coat, but enough to make everything white. According to the weather people, this dusting is all we will get, but hey, it's enough for me to haul out the "winter" dishes! (they have snowflakes on them, and I try not to use them until the first real snowfall). Tomorrow will be forty-three, so this batch of white stuff has no chance of hanging around.
This would be a perfect day to read in front of the fire and sip hot chocolate, but I do have to go out. Among other things, I want to drop the real estate tax payment off at City Hall (they owe me money back from the escrow check, so the sooner the better).
