It's bad enough Facebook changed everything, now Blogger has a new interface, and I can't find anything. Stupid. Or rather, I think they are trying to make things "stupid-proof"; in other words, take everything down to the lowest common denominator.
That's pretty low.
I'm stupid in the other sense - stupid tired. Not enough is getting done, but I lack the oomph to do much. I think I'm at that point right before everything comes together, but while it still looks like a disaster. At least the office/sewing room is basically done. I need to disconnect and pack up the desktop 'puter. I'm not sure I can bear to unplug the laptop until Wednesday morning, though.
Um, maybe not as done as I thought; I just turned around and realized my "Quilter's Alphabet" wallhanging was still - hanging. No sweat. It's been rolled up and tucked in a quilting tote.
Complicating matters is the fact I need to be at the condo for the carpet cleaners tomorrow morning for a couple hours. In my current neighborhood I'm no longer comfortable loading the car the night before and letting it sit on the street, tempting every hoodlum around to break a window (though I suppose I could load the visible portion up with things like mops and pails, but even then...). So, if I want to take a load over when I go to meet the carpet guys, I have to load up by 7:30 a.m. A bit early for even me.
Then there is the little matter of the group I'd like to go to tomorrow night. Why does everything have to start at the one time I'm really, really busy? And why Monday night? Mondays, quite frankly, suck. I don't really mind the start of the work week, but because it is Monday, I tend to work much longer than the rest of the days of the week. Having to go out that night is going to be a challenge.
I should get back to stumbling through things...based on prior experience, I will start getting a second wind in an hour or so.
At least that's the theory.
