The Brewers are having a very good year at home, both in victories (40-15 at home, as of last night) and in attendance. They've already passed last year's full year attendance number, and it is only August 3rd. We're even starting to warrant some attention (though rather snarky attention) from a few columnists.
While I still maintain my "eh" attitude toward baseball, it's nice to have the hometown crew doing well. Our cities may be among the smallest markets for professional sports, but our fans are loyal to a fault.
With the Packers returning to action after a Super Bowl win, and the Brewers apparently headed for the playoffs, it would be nice if the Bucks could put together a winning season.
Now that Herb Kohl is giving up his day job, maybe he'll focus a bit more on his team.
