Work proceeds apace on the side street near my place, I think with the intention of finishing and releasing us from parking hell before the start of the State Fair on August 4th. Yes, just in time for our regularly scheduled annual parking hell.
Tonight is our city's National Night Out celebration (exactly why they do it a week ahead of the rest of the nation, I'm not sure), which takes place about three quarters of a mile away. Pardon the excessive use of italics, but geez - don't assume I'm a Luddite just because you are.
Besides, I'm already taking off a bit of work this week to go sign a counteroffer on the condo. (Which would have been avoided had the lawyer listened to me in the first place, but apparently the fact that it is my
Why yes, I'm crabby, hot, under caffeinated and generally grumpy. How could you tell?
