Tropical diary, day three, African veld version

The local paper reports that the zoo is canceling a popular event - the public giraffe feeding - because it is too hot...for the giraffes.

It's only 81, a true cold wave. It's tomorrow that is the issue, when it will creep into the shadow of 100.

Hopefully, that high will be slow coming, as I need to be fairly presentable for a meeting tomorrow morning with a real estate attorney. Yup, I'm putting in an offer on a condo. The stars are aligned, the ducks are starting to form a row and things are starting to move. Or so most people would say; I'm clearly seeing God's hand in this, and if He chooses to have me get almost through the process only to have it all fall apart, who am I to complain? His plan is perfect (and I truly hope this is His plan). I'll keep you all updated, as when the time comes, I will need strong backs to shift all those boxes of books.
