A journey of a thousand miles...

...would be so much nicer when taken in an air-conditioned limousine.

So, after weeks of procrastinating, I've actually broken out a couple boxes and begun to pack. The books on the two lamp base bookcases and the eighteen inch stack next to the chair are done. I'm about to start on the pile of quilting mags that were in the basket. It is impossible to simply recycle them without at least flipping through them to tear out anything interesting.

That may take me all the way through the Daytime Emmys (yes, I've watched General Hospital for twenty thirty years), but if I can stay awake past nine, I can get at the books in one of the two built in bookcases that divide the living and dining rooms.

Clever me: over the last year I've been saving the boxes I've received from orders from CBD, so my books are being packed in boxes meant for, and marked as, well, books.

I'm easily amused.
