By the weekend the focus will shift to a big warm-up and also a chance of showers and t-storms. Sunday still looks like the warmest day of the weekend, with highs around or above 80 possible in our area.
Emphasis mine. Where did spring go? They also mentioned that Sunday will be humid.
WISN uses an incredible long-range forecasting model called the Lyzac Recurring Cycle. Essentially, a cycle sets up in October-November that recurs at regular intervals over the next eight to nine months. This warm up - temps well above normal - was predicted back in February for this time period. Amazing.
Still, I miss spring. Not ready for hot and humid, particularly as my landlord still hasn't given me an actual answer - much less done anything - about air conditioning in the two years I've been asking. Cannot wait to get out of here.
