Spring Fever

Yesterday's high temp was close to, if not at, sixty degrees, and today appears to be a carbon copy (though with a possibility of a chance of sprinkles).  Did I pick a great day to take a half day of vacation or what?  I'm off tomorrow as well, though the weather will drop back down to seasonal highs.

Not much play time on the time off, though, as the purpose of today is to get ready for the "prep" portion of a medical test I'm having tomorrow morning - yup, I'm at that age.  I'll be sure to post if I say anything out-of-the-ordinary strange or funny while coming out of the drugs.

Still, there is time this afternoon to throw open the windows at home and do some spring cleaning, let the fresh air blow out the winter staleness.  I don't think I've had the dining room drapes open since...October?  The timing is good, as the crazy canasta chicks are playing at my place next week Friday.  Things are generally picked up, but the furnace kicks up an incredible amount of dust, some of which went into hiding in corners so it could mate and produce herds of little dust bunnies.

Back to the few things I really want to get done at work this morning, then what seems will be a difficult meeting (I can't help you if you can't help yourself), then freedom by about eleven.
