That would be how to describe the current mood around the city, I think. The weather people are talking about "storm of the decade", but it seems that is based on the combination of snow accumulation and nasty, nasty wind, not simply the snow.
The angel neighbor was shoveling at 6:15 this morning when I went out - bless him, he insisted I get in the car and warm it up while he brushed off the car. Their whole family has food allergies (different ones for each member of the family), so I think a gift card with instructions for them to go have fun will mysteriously appear in their mailbox.
The total from the round yesterday/last night looks to be about four inches at my house, which isn't much worth talking about. I've tried to stay away from the news, as it will be what it will be, and fretting over seven inches versus ten inches really won't do anyone any good. It will be bad; deal with it.
We all seem to be working under the assumption the university will be closed tomorrow; I'm not positive that will be the case, but will take work home anyway. I've a webinar to view in the early afternoon; it's easy enough to do that at home. Even if we are closed, it will be much like a normal workday.
