"Feingold said the course would cover three areas: internal issues of Senate procedure such as the filibuster and lame-duck legislation; “the relationship between the Senate and the Constitution,” including how senators assess the constitutionality of legislation; and thirdly the relationship between the Senate and the executive branch, including confirmations of presidential appointees and war powers."It should come as no surprise that Mr. Feingold is already making noise about this possibly being more than just a one semester commitment.

Where do old politicians go to retire?
Apparently to Marquette, to become guest lecturers at our Law School. Russ Feingold - career politician and a Democratic senator from Wisconsin for eighteens years through last November - is the latest to arrive on our doorstep. What will the freshman instructor teach?
