My bags are packed, I'm ready to go...

This will be my room for the weekend!
Almost set to walk out the door, as a matter of fact.  The hired guard dog is salivating at the idea of taking a bite out of any trespassers, so don't let my absence give potential robbers any ideas.

I'm on the way to Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin - the base of wonderful Door County, for a personal retreat of sorts.  Rachel's story of starting over, and her challenge this morning to start over on something is extremely timely (funny how God works those things out).  Lots to read, write, think and pray over this weekend.  Even though I've not yet left the house, portions of a book read over breakfast have already fit themselves into the theme of the weekend.

What does it say that the bag with the journals, books, computer, camera, pens, pencils and other paraphernalia is heavier than the suitcase?  And that's with several of the books in Kindle format...

Pictures and thoughts will be posted eventually.

In the meantime I've been cleaning up the house a bit before I go (you never know) and trying to put the stress of the week firmly in my rear view mirror. One of the best ways for me to do that is to wander around the other Company Girls' blogs - I may not get to it until late tonight, but I'll be there!
