Up, up and away

Things I like about flying:

• Early mornings at the airport with cheerful staff
• Short lines at security
• Take offs and landings
• Turbulence (excitement!)
• Getting places quickly
• Meeting interesting people

Things I don't like about flying:

• Aerobic sprints from gate to gate to catch connecting flights
• Announcements that we are "cleared for descent into XXX airport" over half an hour before actual landing
• Travellers with over sized "carry on" luggage
