A rose by any other name, East Side style

On the same day that a study declares Milwaukee is the fourth poorest city in the nation the neighborhood business improvement district on the East Side (long a bastion of granola crunching hippie liberals(nothing against granola, which I like)) are reviewing Goodwill's application to open a store in a long vacant property.

The issue?  The BID wants Goodwill to use a different name for the store, and wants input (read: final authority) on screening off the parking lot and the design of the building facade.

So basically, they can build the store there, but it cannot be called what it is, look like what it is, and they can't do anything that will let the neighbors know what it is.

Sheesh.
