The forecast called for lake effect snow - north-north-east winds under certain circumstances sometimes bring a little extra snow to the lakefront area. When I went out yesterday, I had to brush about half an inch of snow off the car - the lake effect rarely gets this far inland.
The wind, however, decided to target a few specific neighborhoods. Those areas? They received more than a foot of snow. The official total at the airport was fourteen inches.
The forecast for the rest of the week? High temperatures in the forties by Thursday/Friday.
Wisconsin: If you don't like the weather, stick around for five minutes.
