Far from home

A fairly close co-worker is in Seattle for the next several months. Today she begins the process of chemotherapy to kill off her bone marrow, in preparation for a bone marrow transplant on September 11th. If you have a chance and are so inclined, say a prayer or two for Mariann and her family. It is so difficult to go through something like this when you are surrounded by family and friends; to be all the way across the country from your support system is almost unthinkable.
