A well-rounded education

For all I can grouse about work sometimes, and wonder at the (to me, anyway) incredibly high cost of an MU education, the theory of a broad liberal arts core curriculum making for a better person seems to be proving itself true.

Or at least a more generally intelligent person.

As Marc noted in the comments a while ago, Jeopardy! came to UW-Madison as part of their 2008 college championship series. I'm proud to say that an MU student has advanced to Final Jeopardy:

Danielle Zsenak, a student in Marquette's Klingler College of Arts and Sciences, will compete in the finals of Jeopardy's 2008 College Championship on Thursday and Friday, May 15-16.

Not only is she a student at MU, she is from Waukesha.

Go Danielle! (You have to pay for this expensive education somehow!)
