Wednesday weirdness

For the second day in a row, I woke up to thunder. It was pouring when I left the house, though it let up a short time later. Now, highs around 100, followed by late afternoon thunderstorms that may be severe. At least this super hot/less super hot cycle has some rain in it.

I truly need a haircut. Stupid hair keeps getting caught under the back neckline of my shirt. Annoying.

Ugh - just got an e-mail saying a call has been placed to Facilities regarding our A/C. It's still blowing, but now that I think about it, it is a bit on the warm side. Is this our annual outage about to happen? Surprised it has held out this long.

No quilting since Sunday. That will change tonight. Well, provided the vacuuming and dusting get done.

A free "dump cake" cookbook came up on a Kindle offer yesterday. Have I mentioned I'm a cookbook junkie? I still have most of a four foot shelf full of them, and that is after culling out at least a third of what I had. Now, there are at least five in the Kindle, four of which were free. It's time to start putting the new recipes I've tried in the cookbook software (why yes, I use MasterCook as well) so I can keep track of them. Seriously, I'd have to adopt a family of twelve and cook every meal every day for the rest of my life to cook everything I'd like to try.

The EAA event is going on this week. All those small planes (especially the homemade ones and the vintage craft) parked on all that dry grass sounds like a nasty wildfire in the making.

I don't have much to say, can you tell?

Oddly enough, this family of 10 is up for adoption. ;)
