Never get your hair done when you are a) bored, and b) far enough ahead on your budget to say "go for it".

Much shorter - up off the shoulders. Shorter in back, layers cut in there. And chunky, very blonde highlights.

I'd share a picture, but too tired to take one.  We'll see if I recognize myself in the mirror tomorrow morning.
