A cheese tray isn't usual breakfast/coffee break fare, but it was put together in anticipation of the Crazy Canasta Chicks stopping over tonight for our monthly
I had a "gee-I'm-over-fifty-now-and-my-doctor-wants-me-to-have-this-test" procedure last week. Without sharing too much information, I can say everything "came out" just fine, and it was as easy as it could be (all things considered). Well, except for the magnificent, huge bruise just below my elbow; they had a difficult time finding a vein there for the IV.
Busy, newsy week. I realized yet another friend is moving out of town (that would be four in the last eight months), as well as having the fact our pastor and his family are also leaving town really sink in...I'm beginning to feel left behind. If any of your cities have a midsized university looking for a c.p.a., let me know; if I'm going to move in the next year anyway, I may as well explore really moving!
Cards tonight, hair appointment in the morning, catching up on things over the rest of the weekend, with a slow week to follow. While we've had bucketsfull of rain over the last week which has washed away the dirty snow piles, the temps dropped back into the winter range; when I stopped at Starbucks Wednesday night (admittedly, during a sleet storm), everyone, including me, was ordering hot chocolate rather than coffee. That kind of night.
Still, spring will come. Just not this week!
