A hot time in the ol' town (hall) today

Our esteemed POTUS is scheduled to appear at a town hall meeting in Racine this afternoon.  People have been camped out (literally) in line since yesterday, hoping for a seat.  A good portion of those people are employees of Bucyrus International, who, with the blessing of their employer, are planning to call into question the unintended consequences of his stupid green energy policies lobby him to intercede to have a remarkably stupid ruling by the U.S. Import-Export Bank reversed.

The short story:  Bucyrus may lose out on a $600 million order for mining equipment - and the potential for the creation of 300 to 1000 new jobs - because of environmental concerns over the mine at which the equipment will be used - in India.

One hopes he will remember this ruling when the the unemployment rate (unexpectedly!) rises again.
