Feeding frenzy

Summer is approaching (in spite of the extended forecast mentioning the possibility of snow showers Sunday night) and I feel in dire need of vitamin K. It's time to spend more time outdoors, or at least out of the house and away from the computer.

In order to better manage my time, I've put a lot of you on an RSS feed. It's not that I don't love you - I promise I will still visit frequently - I just need to spend my time a bit more wisely. This way, I can check in one spot for new posts, and not compulsively (ok, I admit it) check your blogs and artificially drive up your visit counter.

Unless you really want me to.

Speaking of visits, I am creeping up fairly quickly on a substantial number of visitors (although sitemeter seems to not want to ignore my own computer, no matter that it is correctly set to do just that). I think I'd like to offer some sort of token to my 10,000th visitor, but what? All suggestions will be entertained, as long as 1.) The token does not cost more than $10 and 2.) It will not cost more than that to ship (nor is illegal, immoral or improper to send via the USPS).

Ideally, it should be something connected to Milwaukee. Postcards from the Museum? A pound of Alterra coffee? Flash frozen bratwurst? Half a pound of braunschweiger? Wisconsin cheese, or a cheesehead hat? A book on Milwaukee history?

Think about it; we have a bit of time. Besides, if you keep coming back to offer suggestions, the hit counter will go up that much quicker.
