Heh. I went to this seminar with four other people from the office, including two of the whiny-complaining type that think their supervisor is imposing on them if they are asked to fulfill the minimal requirements of their jobs. They seem to think there is a magical formula that will make everyone want to do everything their way.
The point of the seminar, in a nutshell:
You will always have to deal with "difficult" people. You cannot avoid
them, but you can change the way you react to them and the methods you use to communicate with them, and in doing so, hopefully change the way they relate to you.
Somehow, I don't think they got the point.
