Yes, I remembered to buy new sunglasses at Target on Friday. UVA/UVA protected, polarized lenses developed especially for driving. It was difficult to find a pair that wasn't in that bug-eyed style favored by people famous only for being famous.
On Saturday, I moved a lot of furniture as part of the great pre-entertaining deep clean. Sure enough, the old pair of sunglasses had been knocked to the floor and kicked under the (heavy, cast iron machine plus mahogany cabinet) treadle sewing machine.
I suppose I should move that sucker more often.
