When a computer glitch is a good thing

I stepped up to the counter at Starbucks this afternoon, ordering my usual latte. The barrista started making my drink, as I stood there with my debit card out.

"It's on us," the counter person said. "Our computer system froze up. The only way to fix it is to reboot the entire system which takes about ten minutes. Coffee's on us while it reboots."
