Random things

Via Lawdog, since no one else seems to be willing to play...

Where you named after anyone? Not that I know of. Good thing, too; my mother was named after her great-aunt Prudence. Family names are not always meant to be passed down.

When was the last time you cried? Ten minutes ago, after I stubbed my toe.

Do you like your handwriting? For the most part.

What is your favorite lunchmeat? Phfft on the processed stuff - give me leftover T-day turkey.

If you were another person would you be friends with you? I'll let my friends answer that one.

Do you use sarcasm a lot? After earning the World Sarcasm Title in high school, I retired.

Do you still have your tonsils? Yes.

Would you bungee jump? Maybe. Just not off the crane they use at the State Fair.

What is your favorite cereal? Don't eat it, unless you count Fiber One mixed in with yogurt.

Do you untie your shoes when you take them off? Never. I hate wearing shoes, and they come off at the first available opportunity.

Do you think you are strong? Physically, no; emotionally, most of the time.

What is your favorite ice cream? French vanilla.

What is the first thing you notice about people? Eyes, how kind they are/aren't, ability/inability to string two grammatically correct sentences together.

Red or pink? Red.

What is the least favorite thing about yourself? That I wasn't born rich?

What do you miss the most? See answer to previous question.

What color pants and shoes are you wearing? Blue jeans and bare feet.

What was the last thing you ate? An english muffin.

What are you listening to right now? The Sunday morning "oldies" show on the local country station - A Boy Named Sue by Johnny Cash, specifically.

If you were a crayon, what color would you be? Emerald green.

Favorite smells? Hot coffee, bread baking, fresh-mown grass.

Who was the last person you talked to on the phone? Elyssa.

Favorite sports to watch? ChampCar racing.

Hair color? Dark brunette.

Eye color? Dark brown with flecks of gold.

Do you wear contacts? Blind as a bat without them.

Favorite food? Duh. Chocolate.

Scary movies or happy endings? Happy endings. I think the people in scary movies are just plain idiots.

Last movie you watched? You mean actually paid attention to, not just had it on for noise? At home, parts of Hitch. In the theaters, Wild Hogs.

What color shirt are you wearing? Black.

Summer or winter? Fall.

Hugs or kisses? From small children with sticky faces and grubby hands, both; from girlfriends and family, hugs; men need to ask permission first.

Favorite dessert? Chocolate chip cookies.

Most likely to respond? Anyone I can shame into it.

Least likely to respond? Anyone I try to shame into it.

What book are you reading now? Just one of them? Uh, the British author Dorothy Sayer's 1939 Begin Here, which is part essay on war, part defense of Christianity. It's amazing how relevant it is to today.

What is on your mouse pad? The Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote.

What did you watch on T.V. last night? DVDs of old MacGyver shows.
