Work Party

Those two words are the ultimate contradiction.

Anyway... today is the (mandatory) work picnic (during work hours) that is supposed to thank us for our hard work over the last year. We are closing the office at 10 to go to the park.

It is currently pouring; thunder and lightening abound.

The rain is supposed to taper off by mid-day, with occassional showers this afternoon. The high temperature is forecast for mid-sixties, with brisk winds.

In fairness, they can't do anything about the weather, though if you've lived in Wisconsin for more than a year, you know doing anything outdoors in September is iffy.

At least there will be beer.

So I'm off for a very soggy start to the weekend. Have fun everyone!
