Air Force One has landed

One of the joys of living working in close proximity to the spot where two major freeways cross is the chance to watch the traffic on the freeway (not that anyone just sits and looks out the windows during working hours - oh, nosiree). About three o'clock this afternoon, the President's motorcade went screaming by on the way to his scheduled stop at the Allen-Edmonds shoe factory just north of the city.

Later on, he will be the featured guest at a $1,000 a plate fundraiser for the Republican candidate for governor, held at a hotel about five blocks from our office building.

My ticket must have gotten lost in the mail.
